Pastel Pound Cake
1 pkg white or yellow cake mix

3 oz. pkg. any flavor fruit gelatin

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup oil

4 eggs


Combine cake mix, gelatin, water, oil and eggs. Beat 3 minutes or
until smooth and creamy. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan that is lined
on the bottom with waxed paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55
minutes. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes then remove and cool on a
wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Or, blend juice
of one lemon with 1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar and spread over
cooled cake.
