Hi

Has any one here used bestpricedbrands.co.uk. They have a camera - Canon
A720 delivered for £128 - which seems a very good price. Anyone seen it
cheaper anywhere else? It's £140 + del at Pixmania.

Thanks
Paul.

A minute ago I looked at their website and it wouldn't let me in due to
too many connections

No landline phone number on their contact us web page, and no references
to a UK business address

Website Registrants address is in the US and delivered by FedEx - so you
could get stung for customs

Thanks for that. I have found it elsewhere for £134 - also going to try the
shops on Wednesday - see if the old fashioned way still works!

It's some guy trading from his bedroom in the States.
He is at it again this year before Christmas.
Look at the posts about him from a year ago.

and the contact us says how much they like email, ior if you prefer
you can email them!

and as for the shear unreadabilty of the termns and conditions....

I placed an order with them on 30th December and I'm still waiting!
Absolutely no reply to the 3 emails I've sent so far chasing
delivery. Does this company exist? Am I going to end up getting my
money back from the credit card company?

The web site is completely anonymous, no phones, no addresses,
nothing... I think the previous comment about a bedroom could be
right. The bastard's got 24 hours

What do you expect?
The stuff is sent from the US. Even if you get it eventually [with a
manual in Korean], you ordered last Sunday, the Monday was New Year's
Eve. Even if the guy had managed to buy your stuff from some street
dealer on 2nd January, he still has to box it and arrange to send it.
You were warned, there are hundreds of complaints about the guy and
his bedroom outfit.

"You were warned"! Ha! That's easy to say with hindsight. Is it the
US or Canada do you know? My credit card entry has CA on the entry.
I've emailed him and cancelled the order then as if by magic, 6 hours
later, I get confirmation that my order is 'in the warehouse ready for
dispatch'... If it ever does arrive I will just bounce it. I'm
working on my credit card company regarding 'my right to cancel'
