DILLARD'S $2500 SHOPPING SPREE SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1.. ENTRY PERIOD: This promotion at www.dillards.com/shoppingspree begins
March 3rd, 2008 and ends June 1st, 2008.
2.. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States (excluding
Puerto Rico) who are 18 years of age and older as of the date of entry.
Employees, officers and/or directors (and members of the immediate families
or households of such individuals) of Dillard's, Inc., any promotional
partners, and their parent companies, distributors, affiliates, divisions
and subsidiaries, and licensed retailers of the contest's promotional
partners, advertising agencies and other agencies, are not eligible. Void
outside the United States and where prohibited by law.
3.. HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter: On-line and Mail.
1.. On-line: Visit www.dillards.com/shoppingspree and follow the
instructions to complete an official entry form. Be sure to include all
required information (indicated with an asterisk *). To be eligible,
completed online entry forms must be received no later than midnight Central
Standard Time June 1st, 2008. On your entry form, you may be asked to
consent to receive promotional e-mails from Dillard's or its promotional
partners. Consenting to receive promotional e-mails is optional and does not
have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the contest (you may
opt out). If there is a dispute about the identity of a participant entering
via the Internet, only the entry of the authorized e-mail account holder, at
the time of submission, will be accepted. Authorized account holder is
defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an
Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization
that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated
with the submitted e-mail address. Each participant may be required to
provide Dillard's with proof that the participant is the authorized account
holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entries. All
Internet entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account, which may be
identified by reverse domain name search.
2.. Mail: To enter by mail hand-print on a 3"x5" paper your name,
address, day and evening phone numbers, email address (if any), and date of
birth. Mail entry in a hand-addressed envelope to Dillard's Shopping Spree
Sweepstakes, Dept. ADV0801, 1600 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72201. Limit
one (1) entry per separately mailed envelope. Incomplete or incorrectly
addressed entries will not be accepted. All mail-in entries must be received
by midnight Central Standard Time June 1st, 2008.
4.. WINNER SELECTION: The winner will be selected in a random drawing from
the pool of all eligible entries received by midnight Central Standard Time
June 1st, 2008.
The drawing will be conducted by Dillard's and all decisions are final.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
5.. PRIZE: The prize for this promotion will be one (1) $2500 shopping
spree awarded in the form of a Dillard's Gift Card. The Gift Card will be
valid for one year from the date of issue and is subject to any and all
terms and conditions of Dillard's. Some restrictions apply.
6.. PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prize is non-transferable. No cash equivalent or
substitution of prizes except at Dillard's sole discretion. All federal,
state and local taxes, and any expenses related to the acceptance and use of
the prize and not specified herein will be the sole responsibility of the
prize winner.
7.. PRIZE NOTIFICATION: The winner will be contacted via e-mail or mail.
Dillard's cannot be responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost,
misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winner. Winner will be
required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a
publicity/liability release within 10 business days of responding to the
notification. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or
fails to claim the prize or fails to return a completed and executed
affidavit and release as required, the prize will be awarded to another
eligible entrant. Winner must consent to the use of his/her name and
likeness for publicity and commercial purposes without further compensation,
unless prohibited by law.
8.. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: If more than one entry is submitted, only the
first entry will be accepted. Dillard's cannot assume responsibility for
incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry that fails to
include all the information required will be disqualified. All entries
become the property of Dillard's and no entries will be acknowledged or
returned. No mechanical production of any kind will be accepted.
By entering this promotion, participants agree to be bound by the terms of
these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and
binding in all respects and on all matters pertaining to this promotion. All
federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
By entering, participants agree that no claim relating to any damage, loss
or injury resulting from computer, online, human, telephone or technical
malfunctions; altered, illegible, late, lost or misdirected entries;
participating in the sweepstakes or acceptance and use of a prize shall be
asserted against Dillard's, any participating promotional partner (or any of
their affiliates) and agencies, or their respective parents, subsidiaries,
directors, officers, shareholders, employees or agents. By accepting a
prize, the winner agrees to release and hold Dillard's, any promotional

subsidiaries, directors, officers, shareholders, employees or agents
harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any
kind caused, or claimed to be caused, by acceptance, possession or use of
any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and
property damage. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations apply.
9.. CONDUCT: The Official Rules will be posted at the Sweepstakes website
throughout the promotion. Dillard's reserves the right at its sole
discretion to disqualify any individual it finds tampering with the entry
process or the operation of the sweepstakes or website; to be acting in
violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or
disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any
other person.
CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately
alter or damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the
promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt
be made, Dillard's reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant
or individual to the fullest extent of the law.
Limitations of liability: Neither Dillard's nor any promotional partner is
responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by
website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or
utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error that might
occur in the processing or submissions in the promotion. Neither Dillard's
nor any promotional partner assumes responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission,

Someone left a comment on the listing on SweepsGoat.com saying they
had contacted Dillards customer support about this. Apparently you get
a registration number on your receipt. If you don't have a receipt,
