>>> "The Tague wounding is the bona fide evidence that destroys the lone-gunman theory. Quite simply no way around it. And the fragments that injured Tague had no traces of copper. Not linked to Oswald at all." <<<
DVP SAYS:
Bullshit. The ONLY solid evidence in the whole JFK case supports just
one shooter (Oswald) firing three shots from the SN of the TSBD.
And it's possible that if the Tague bullet struck the oak tree (which
I fully believe it did), the bullet's jacket could have separated or
split....thus causing no "copper" traces on the curb.
Plus: As an alternate theory, it's possible that Tague was wounded by
a fragment from the JFK head shot. If this is the case, then quite
obviously the severely-mutilated bullet at that point would not have
to have any copper (jacket) on it.
I, personally, am not wild about that latter theory, but it IS
possible....and is certainly more believable than somebody firing a
strangely-wild shot at James Tague or the Main St. curb from the KNOLL
or the WEST side of the TSBD or the Dal-Tex, which were shooting
locations that had NO TREE in the bullet's path.
Also: To the CTers who love to insist (incorrectly) that the Warren
Commission was FORCED (at all costs) to endorse the SBT due to the
Tague wounding -- I offer up proof that such a mindset was certainly
NOT mandatory in order to put forth a "Lone Assassin" conclusion.
That proof is right in the Warren Report, in fact, on Page 117. On
that page, the WR/WC states that it was indeed possible for the Tague
wound and the Main St. curb damage to have possibly been caused by the
"bullet which hit the President's head":
WR; PG. 117:
http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wr/html/WCReport_0071a.htm
Page 117 of the WR forever destroys the long-held CT myth that assumes
the WC was being "boxed in" to endorsing the SBT merely because of the
"Tague shot".
Just goes to show how FEW people (i.e., CTers) have taken time to back
up their beliefs by actually reading Page #117...or the Warren Report
as a whole.

"I think it's very, very noteworthy that before this five-hour
{televised Docu-} trial, 85 percent of the American people believed in
a conspiracy. And being exposed to only five hours, it dropped
dramatically to 71. If they had seen the eighteen hours of testimony
and evidence, it would drop even further. And if they knew all the
truth about the case, very few people would conclude that there was a
conspiracy." -- VINCENT BUGLIOSI; 1988
