"F.Y.I." POST......

RE.: JOHN F. KENNEDY'S PRESS CONFERENCES........

====================================================

For those who might be interested (and who might not know that these
audio clips are available), let me promote the following weblinks
located at the "JFK Library" website. These links provide access to
three full, uncut press conferences given by President Kennedy during
his 1,037 days in the White House (one from each calendar year from
'61 to '63).

These conferences display Kennedy's vast knowledge of the issues he
was tackling each and every day, and these clips are a fascinating
portal back to the early 1960s:

THE CONFERENCES OF APRIL 21, 1961, AND APRIL 11, 1962:

THE CONFERENCE OF AUGUST 20, 1963:

~~~~~~~~
My fervent desire (for some time now) has been for the JFK Library in
Boston (which I believe houses all of Kennedy's Presidential press
conferences on audio and video) to remaster all 64 of those
conferences and release them on DVD.
In my opinion, the JFK news conferences ought to be preserved
(digitally), either on DVD or perhaps on Audio-CD, before the material
is lost forever due to degradation.
All of the conferences can, however, be read (word for word) at the
JFK Library website. Here's a link to the text versions of the JFK
press gatherings:
MORE LIBRARY TALK......
Another interesting part of the John F. Kennedy Library website is the
"White House Diary", which contains information about JFK's activities
for every one of the 1,037 days he was Chief Executive of the United
States.
If you click on "White House Diary" within the red toolbar on the
following webpage, you'll get an "audio/visual" version of the
"Diary", which includes many video and audio clips throughout the
diary's pages.....
I've started saving my nickels and Kennedy half-dollars for the
following JFK-related "I Wish It Were So" Super-Mega DVD set that I
invented a few years ago. By the time it's released on the 100th
Anniversary of the JFK assassination, in November 2063, I might have
saved up enough greenery to afford it.......
Restored & Remastered Video from the original network master tapes.
This Unparalleled Mega-Set Includes These Deluxe Bonus Features (on 9
Hope, Judy Garland, James Stewart, Frank Sinatra, plus many others.
