A CTer SAID THIS:

"David, Mr. Bugliosi won't change my mind. There is absolutely nothing
he can discover that hasn't already been said. He, as many do, will
just try to say it in another way. I will abandon my position when you
abandon yours. That seems fair."

DAVID V.P. SAYS THIS:

OK. Fair enough.

(But I have a sneakin' suspicion you will change your tune before I
do. ) ;)

CTer:

"How in the Hell do you know what he {John Connally} was saying, if
anything, at Z223-224. Was there a microphone in the limo and have you
discovered a tape?"

DVP:

To believe that Mr. Connally's "rounded-mouth" look on the Z-Film is
NOT him saying "No, no, no" just after being hit by a bullet is to
necessarily believe he was.....

1.) Not REALLY making ANY sound or saying anything at that point. He
was just "miming" some words that weren't audible to anyone.

-- Or: --

2.) He was screaming something ELSE and NOBODY else in the car
recalled Connally SCREAMING out something at this point in time (or
they just forgot to mention that he said something else during the
shooting). It just so happens, in this wholly-unbelievable CT
scenario, that ONLY Mr. Connally's LATER "Oh, no, no..." cries were
heard by anybody in the car; and that these OTHER comments were
totally forgotten.

Neither #1 nor #2 is a logical conclusion.

CTer:

"And please tell me how he {JBC} managed to hold on to his hat when
his wrist was so severly injured. That is a real problem for you and
will be for Mr. B. as well. You can't say he just did."

DVP:

You don't have to go by what I say. Nellie Connally herself said that
JBC never dropped the hat all the way to Parkland.

(We've been over this a million times too. But you, therefore, must
think that JBC somehow DROPPED the hat he had in his RIGHT hand when
he was shot, and then PICKED UP the hat again with his LEFT hand so
that he could hold it all the way to the hospital. Hardly a logical
conclusion, IMO.)

"And he also, he has... he has... his hat in his hand. He always had
that hat somewhere. He had the hat in his hand when I pulled him over
and crouched him down and he was holding that hat up against him. He
closed up that wound that would've killed him before we got to the
hospital." -- Nellie Connally
