I recently came across the BBC-TV program linked below. It was first
aired by the BBC on September 28, 1964, just after the Warren Report
came out. David Brinkley of NBC-TV is interviewed:

A pretty good "conspiracy vs. no conspiracy" debate (via NPR Radio),
featuring guests Gary Mack, Max Holland, and JFK conspiracy author
David Kaiser (from Feb. 2008):

>>> "Very interesting. Here is something new that Brinkley said: 'Well, I think there have been two reasons. One was that a fragment of a bullet had been found lying in the back of the car in such a way as to indicate a shot from a different direction. The Warren Commission found that it landed where it did because it ricocheted.' " <<<

Yes, that stuff about a bullet being found in the "back" of the car is
very curious. Just shows that even seasoned and respected newsmen like
Mr. Brinkley can get stuff wrong on occasion. Because there were
certainly no bullets found "lying in the back of the car" {back
seat???}.

Maybe Brinkley was referring to the small fragments found under
Nellie's seat. ???? ~shrugs~

BTW, as an addendum to this "BBC" thread, I found this very
interesting Internet article regarding the BBC special "THE DEATH OF
KENNEDY" (which apparently, per this article, aired in January of
1967, which makes that the third different date [year] I've seen
associated with that program. The DVD of "A REVISIONIST HISTORY"
claimed that the show aired in Jan. '64, which we know is wrong; while
Robert Stone's recent film, "OSWALD'S GHOST", says that the BBC
program was broadcast in 1966).

But from the details revealed in this article below, I've got to
believe that the 01/29/67 date is the correct one (not that it makes
any real difference in the long run):

(The person who wrote that article claims to have tracked down an
audio version of the BBC special. If anyone here knows how a copy
(online or otherwise) of that program can be obtained, please post the
info. I'd love to see/hear that whole, lengthy show.)
