Posted this morning at Electric Politics, a podcast interview with
James W. Douglass, author of JFK and the Unspeakable. If you're
interested in JFK and what happened in Dallas, but figured we'll never
get the real story, I have news for you. Jim Douglass has written a
classic history that goes a long way toward clearing up the clutter
and that gives us an extremely plausible outline of events.

The book is published by Maryknoll, a very respected Catholic
publishing house. The fellow in charge of the press is Robert
Ellsberg, Daniel Ellsberg's son, who converted to Catholicism. Robert
says that this is one of the most important books he's published in
the last several decades. I'd broaden that to say it's one of the most
important books that has been published in several decades, period.

Though the mainstream media has studiously ignored it the book has
gotten strongly positive reviews from several religion-oriented
magazines. People I know who've read it universally sing its praises.

It is, indeed, an extraordinary book.

If you think the podcast worthwhile please feel free to forward the
link.
