here is the relevant b.s. commission testimony:

Mr. B.S.: And so you found a Mauser on the roof?
Mr. Jones: Yes.
Mr. B.S.: And you say a security officer dropped it there?
Mr.Jones: Yes.
Mr. B.S. So in summation, you say after the Carcano was found after 1:30
p.m. by Ellsworth and others, the investigators had to ditch the Mauser and
bring the Carcano into evidence instead?
Mr. Jones: Yes.
Mr. B.S.: And you say an unnamed person told you they were told to ditch the
Mauser on the roof where no one would find it?
Mr. Jones: Yes.
Mr. B.S.: And then you say that unnamed person was told to tell Roscoe White
where it was and for Roscoe to remove it from the book building?
Mr. Jones: Yes.
Mr. B.S.: And Roscoe took the Mauser home that day?
Mr. Jones: Yes.
Mr. B.S.: That is all for now. Thank you.
Mr. Jones: Yes.
