Vincent Salandria argues that one of the functions of the Warren
Commission and the release of evidence that supported a
conspiracy that followed was to make the FBI look bad. The
FBI's report that supported the lone assassin myth was clearly
undermined by evidence related to the position of Kennedy's back
wounds. The Warren Commission and the pro-conspiracy evidence
that followed should be seen as an attempt to undermine the
credibility of the FBI. The likelyhood that this can be
attributed to error isn't easily acceptable. The Warren
Commission can be seen as a Dulles-dominated or non-idelogical
CIA exercise that ties into what Salandria calls a transparent
conspiracy.
