In July 2006, some CT-Kook named Ben posted several forum/NG messages
about some (supposed) author named "John Welsh Hodges" (4 original Ben
posts re. this "person" are linked below).

"Hodges" supposedly, per Ben-Kook, was going to have a book coming out
at about the very same time as Vincent Bugliosi's JFK book (VB's book
is due on May 29, 2007).

But a search for "John W. Hodges" at various web locations turns up
nothing re. any JFK book.

Ben said -- "John's tome will demolish Bugliosi's" (Ben H.;
07/05/2006).

Well, Ben? When can we expect Mr. Hodges' anti-VB book? .....

Selected hunks of Ben bullshit culled from some of the above-linked
posts:

"Well, in *that* case, John Welsh Hodges, who's upcoming book is to be
published soon, has devastated Bugliosi's position, and has revealed
with formerly secret documents, just who in the U.S. government gave
the order - as well as the members, by name, of the committee that
planned and executed the assassination. He details several deathbed
confessions, and points out where Bugliosi has lied in his current
manuscript." -- Ben Holmes

~~~~~
"John Welsh Hodges' book will be published at the same time that
Bugliosi's volumes are. And John's tome will demolish Bugliosi's." --
Ben Holmes
~~~~~

"So the mere fact that John's expose of Bugliosi's omissions,
misrepresentations, and probable lies is coming out - is probably
already making you tremble." -- Ben Holmes

~~~~~
"5,246 days (14 years, 4 months, and 12 days) after hearing of Vincent
T. Bugliosi's apologia tome proving that the Warren Commission
actually came to the correct conclusion, people are still waiting.
Could it be that Bugliosi's research has proven otherwise??? And at a
mere 7 days, John Welsh Hodges has quite a way to go to match
Bugliosi's record. But John has a problem...publishing a devastating
critique of a book that never gets published would be an author's faux
pas." -- Ben Holmes
[A DVP RE-POST FROM JULY 2006......]
====================================
>>> "Ben{-Kook} proclaimed that a man named "John Welsh Hodges" would write a book that would blow the cover off of the JFK homicide..." <<<
And not only that...Ben-Kook boldly stated that "Hodges" would be
coming out with his book at the SAME TIME (or SOONER even) than Mr.
Bugliosi's, even though (evidently, per Ben-Kook) the whole reason for
the "Hodges" book being written in the first place is to debunk all of
VB's LN-leaning stuff. And "Hodges" has only been "working" on his
anti-VB book for about "a year", too (per Ben). Yeah, that's
believable. Even Mark Fuhrman's slim and flimsy book took him approx.
3 years to dash off.
Quite obviously, Ben-Kook is using "Hodges" in order to "teach me a
lesson" (so to speak). He doesn't like the fact that silly ol' me has
been stupid enough to sing the praises of a book I've yet to read (Mr.
Bugliosi's of course). (I really don't give a damn what anyone thinks
in this regard, I'll tout VB's tome as often as possible anyway,
because I believe in the author's integrity and CS&L. So that's that.)
So, Ben has invented his own anti-VB author that he can tout, in pre-
book-release fashion, as "having the goods on VB".
This ploy is evidently supposed to give Ben-Kook some kind of "power"
that he thinks counters all of VB's words (no matter WHAT those words
are...because "Mr. Hodges", after all, "has the goods" on VB; so Ben
is safe no matter what).
It's obviously a "psychological" type of move by Ben-Kookster. (Or
maybe that should be "reverse psychology" actually.) I guess I'm
supposed to be learning a lesson on the evils of "pre-release"
touting,
or something like that there.
Hmmm.....CT-Kooks....can't shoot 'em....can't reason with 'em either.
So, it's best to leave 'em to wallow in the gutter of unsupportable CT-
ism. Yeah...that's best indeed.
Good job, laz (lapdog).
Your say-nothing (and untrue) post above should alert the Master Kook
named Benji to the existence of this "killfiled" thread nicely
enough.
Thanks.
David, set your ego aside, please..... It's the WCR -- not you, daBug
or any of your over rated Lone Nutter friends/supporters.... No CTer
gives a shit how much you do or don't post supporting the WCR, CTer's
will drive you nuts till the fraud ceases... E-N-J-O-Y
I shall. And I shall e-n-j-o-y it even more when VB's book makes mince-
meat out of every conspiracy theory known to man. Perhaps you, David
H., should look into starting up a new hobby in the coming
months....because being a "JFK Conspiracy-Favoring Kook" is not gonna
cut the muster pretty soon. It really doesn't cut it even now. But you
get my drift.
Sure, some of the ultra-kooks will try to continue to prop up the VB-
destroyed CT community in a post-"RH" world -- similar to a dazed
soldier who continues to stagger around after having come very close
to the spot where the hand grenade just exploded -- but the
"reasonable" CTers will have no (logical) choice but to jump ship in
the post-"Reclaiming" era.
But I kinda like you in a way, David. You can certainly do better than
clinging to a ripped-to-pieces life preserver in the middle of Lake
Kookville. Can't you? Try baseball next. Or DVD collecting. Both have
been quite rewarding for me as fun hobbies.
BTW, David H. -- Have you read the fictional Mr. Hodges' anti-VB book
as yet? I was just wondering what the title is going to be?
"Stealth CTism", perhaps?
Just for lurkers who don't catch the current topic... the trolls have been so
busy using a non-published book to "prove" their case, that I simply did the
same thing.
***************************************************************************
Well, in *that* case, John Welsh Hodges, who's upcoming book is to be published
soon, has devastated Bugliosi's position, and has revealed with formerly secret
It's over... you lost.
*************************************************************************
Irritated them to no end for me to satire their sad position.
P.S. Mr. Hodges informed me that he's waiting for the final draft of Bugliosi's
book, to make sure that VB doesn't slip in a few more lies before publishing.
frankly I've found no one more polite on this board than Ben Holmes,
nor a more formidable 'debator'. What irks Lone Nutter's asses is the
simple fact, you've no adequate answers in addressing Ben Holmes
points other than; "the WCR tells me/us so"! Won't work, Champ --
Haven't even brought up the 35 questions. Surely you have a advance
copy of daBug's book, does he address the 35 questions? Hell, you
might make a sale or two, that's IF you can assure us the publisher
will deliver...
Ben is a rabid "ANYBODY DID THIS EXCEPT LEE HARVEY OSWALD" CT mega-
kook, and he's a liar. Bud and Todd have both proven that to be a
fact. And I have pretty much proven Ben-Kook to be a liar as well, via
the following quotes from the lips of Ben-boy (or do you think he's
telling the gospel truth here?).....
"Well, in *that* case, John Welsh Hodges, who's upcoming book is to be
published soon, has devastated Bugliosi's position, and has revealed
with formerly secret documents, just who in the U.S. government gave
the order - as well as the members, by name, of the committee that
planned and executed the assassination. He details several deathbed
confessions, and points out where Bugliosi has lied in his current
manuscript." -- Ben Holmes
"John Welsh Hodges' book will be published at the same time that
Bugliosi's volumes are. And John's tome will demolish Bugliosi's." --
Ben Holmes
=============
Time and again, Bud (and myself) have ripped Ben's subjective thinking
to pieces. If you want to think otherwise, have a ball.
But your loyalty toward Ben is severely misplaced, David. (Not to
mention being very, very humorous....as you lap up everything the mega-
kook spouts, no matter how stupid it is.)
You're rooting for a ballclub that has lost (and is still losing)
every game.
