evidently, stumps such as yourself have short memories, more than
likely, NO memory -- If your were a Vietnam Veteran, you'd know what
I'm talking about.... so drop Sen. John Kerry a note he knows all to
well about these situations, they were well publicized -- You a
armchair Cyber-warrior too? Do your homework, you fucking gutless

Aeffects, they're free, the comma's, they don't cost anything, you
don't have to pay for them, feel free to use them, as many as you

You're out the line, Chuck.

You're meddling with things you don't understand.

I didn't share my reaction, but here it is:

The key part of the story you didn't grasp was that it was "my first day
in-country." I didn't know the guy was a homicidal maniac. He probably
didn't know himself. I laughed when he said "I bet I can hit that gook"
because I thought he was joking. When he pointed his 16 at him, I
expected him to say something like "Bang, you're dead." I was speechless
when he actually pulled the trigger then absolutely brain be-numbed when
all the Sargent said was, "Cut that shit out."

Anyway, I told a white lie at the end. He didn't kill the old guy,
didn't even wound him. Miraculously, the shot went through the old man's
straw hat, knocking him into the rice paddy. And you should have seen
that old guy screaming at us like bloody murder when he got up out of
the water. Screaming ancients curses, I suspect, which might have
actually worked. The smart ass who did the shooting caught a bullet in
the head himself not long after.

You never run out of needless and incorrectly-used apostrophes though.

So, the difference between "shoots the man dead" and "didn't even
wound him" is, per Ricland....

"A white lie".

Nice coloring job there.

Geez.

You have no idea what that means. But believe me, to anyone who was over
there, I just established all the creds I need.

I served over there and you established NO "creds"
as you call them with me. Vietnam vets by nature
have refused to discuss their time in country even
with members of their immediate families. The internet
has allowed many phonies such as you to "enhance" their
biographies with war hero stories and all that entails. In
reality, your self esteem and self respect are so low you
feel the need to impress total strangers with outlandish
stories to simply impress. As you've done with the JFK
story, you've shown absolutely no knowledge of Vietnam
or what it meant to serve. You sir are a disgrace.

Ricland stated he was 19, right out of high school and during the
Tet Offensive he was on a chopper and ordered to shoot at VC.
Tet was in January, 1968 which means he was born in 1949
which would make him 57-58 right now. As I said, he's a damn
liar.

"Vietnam vets by nature have refused to discuss their time in country...?

Get the fuck out of here with that comic book shit. Nam vets have been
the biggest blabber mouths since ... well, since the beginning of time.

I'm not even going to dignify this stupid crap with a reply.

Idiot.

And where and when did you serve?

And you better know your shit.

Did you just now not attempt to dignify with a replay?
You must truly believe those on this forum to be idiots
on your level. According to another poster, you claimed
your 50th birthday was soon to be. How then sir could you
have served in Vietnam? Is this other poster from another
forum lying? What would be his motive? Ricland? You
are implying "the world is out to get you". Why so paranoid?
Why the need to lie about Vietnam? What is your motive?

As a 23 year old Lt(jg) USN, I underwent SERE training at Coronado,
CA. in May, 1966.
I left for Vietnam via Nellis AFB, San Bernadino, CA. in June,
arriving at the U.S. Naval Support Activity, DaNang, RVN June 26th.
The Navy in I Corps was led by Admiral Thomas Weschler who answered to
Lt. Gen. Lewis Walt, USMC commander of 3rd MAF. I served at Naval
HQ'ers, the White Elephant, as CMCO (Classified Material Control
Officer). Unlike the Army, the Navy did not have MOS's. Naval
Officers had "designators". My designator was 163X, Special Duty
Officer, Intelligence.
I extended my tour on two occassions finally leaving RVN in September,
1968. I joined the ONI in Washington, D.C. as a civilian consultant.
I was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries received on a PCF at Dong
Ha, RVN on February 1, 1968.

You was a consultant for ONI...... and you were with intelligence in
Da Nang....

That probably explains why you're a Lner...... Very few people who
were employed by a U.S.intelligence agency are CT's.

WHY??? Because CT is the abbreviation for Conspiracy
"Theorist"...... And many people involved in intelligence have no need
to "theorize" .....They KNOW that JFK was murdered by a cabal, and
they think the murder was the right way to get rid of a communist in
control of the country.

God Ric.. I'm very (extremely) hesitant to zap
another VN war vet but my God, I guarantee you
this story by you is a 100% crock-of-shit.
RIC ON:

RIC OFF

Your first day(s) are processing in a highly
secure area such as DaNang. The processing area is
crawling wall to wall chock full of guys who will
bust your ass for the slightest funny stuff. You
don't just walk up to a gook and shoot him!
That's 99.9999% movie stuff.. I never saw it or
ever heard about it.. Never.

Ric this is also made-up *fiction*:
RIC ON:

"I was speechless when he actually pulled the
trigger then absolutely brain be-numbed when all

So is this:
RIC ON:

"Miraculously, the shot went through the old man's

"pointed his 16 at him" Yikes! This is bullshit Ric.
