For years, critics have argued that a single shot from the rear could
not account for the tissue, blood and skull that was blown backward
from the Presidentšs head.

In particular, the testimony of Dallas motorcycle officer, Bobby
Hargis, who was spattered by blood and tissue, has been held up as
evidence of a shot from the front.

I recently wrote a short article on the subject, which I think,
demonstrates that we never understood exactly how preposterous the WCšs
theory about this really was. The address for the URL is:

http://jfkhistory.com/lastshot/lastshot.htm

As you read the article and examine the images, I think that several
things will become apparent:

1. The problem with a shot from the rear was not that the officers were
*behind* Kennedy. It was that they were much too far to his *left*, for
debris that was blown upward and to the right, to have hit them.

2. Not only was Hargis spattered, but so was Martin, riding 8-10 feet
to Hargisšs *left*, and riding along the very southernnmost curb of
Elm. He was nearly 20 feet to Kennedy's left.

3. Contrary to LNer claims that the wind blew the debris to the south,
to hit the officers, the wind in DP at that instant was blowing *from*
the Southwest, and *AWAY* from them. See if you donšt agree.

And finally, at the end of the article, you can click on a link to a
Quicktime file in which further support for this argument is presented,
not by Jim Garrison or Mark Lane, but by retired Dallas Chief of
Police, William Curry.

Hey Bob do you ride a bike? (motorcycle) I have for 25 years. I have been
hit with rain, sleet snow, skunks, deer, dogs, water hoses, crap falling
off the back of a truck and many a bubble bee. I can tell you for certain
that the strangest things can happen to you when you are out in the open.

One thing in particular bothers me. When ever I'm in front of someone
using their windshield wipers and squirting washer fluid to clean the
window, I ALWAYS get hit with some of it. Right lane, left lane behind,
slow, fast, does not matter I'm getting wet.

I can imagine the same thing happend to Hargis and Martin, the shot that
hit JFK in the head atomized blood and brain tissue similar to squirting
water out of a car's windshield wiper dispenser, bound to go everywhere.

Oh another thought. I was painting my house last year with a spray gun
just a very small area on what I thought was a very windless day. i had
finished up my small touch up area when my wife came out anc complained
that I had gotten paint on her car, 20 feet away! Not only that but I
noticed paint on one of my daughters bicycles, 10 feet in the OTHER
direction! Go figure, those darn Wagner Power painters!

What a breath of fresh air.

Rob, you may look forward to a volley from the folks who, like Captain
Queeg, have proved with irrefutable Euclidean logic that a duplicate key
to the ship's galey freezer had to exist.

It won't do simply to observe that the mess boys probably ate the
strawberries.

Of course the illuminati may simply ignore you. They can do that, you
know, when you are beneath their level. Hee.

Thanks for a great laugh.

The Limo was traveling 12 MPH. I too have caugh the windshield washer
spray..... but it's always been at higher speeds, when the air flowing over
and around the car creates air turbulence..

Ask any professional house painter.....Paint has a tendency to float on air,
it will drift around and deposit on items a long way from the spray gun.

The blood and brain matter on the cops helmets and motocycles was not
merely a spray......there were hit by bits and pieces of solid matter

An object struck Bobby Hargis' helmet with such force that for a moment he
thought he'd been shot.

Ted, yea I expect to get flamed. I'm sure that the usual suspects will
claim that the brain tissue could not have been "atomized" and that it
could not possibly travel in any except forward in the case of a rear
shot. They will say things like the debris that landed on Hargis and
Martin MUST have come from a frontal shot or something like that.

I hope I brought a dose of plain old "common sense" to this issue, rather
than merely speculating on something they have never experienced
themselvs.

You may be thinking of the idea of "atomized" the way Ayoob was
theorizing about an AR-14 round hitting the head. That can not happen.
We have the photo of the brain and yes it is disrupted, but it is not
"atomized" the way you are probably suggesting.
And the debris can ONLY escape where there is a hole. There was no large
hole in the back of the head. It was only in the top right of the head,
so that is where the jet of material escapes from.

Right out of the LNT handbook.

There were plenty of eyewitnesses to *exactly* this, a large hole in the back of
the head. Specifically, "occipital-parietal".

He was in the right lane and I was about 10 feet back in the left, I STILL

It might seem hard to believe today, but I can remember a time when it
was actually, the proconspiracy people who spent most their time posting
insults and ad hominem attacks.

But even this has value. It allows casual lurkers to quickly see who is
getting their butts kicked in the debate:-)

Easy, Hargis and Martin drove through a "cloud of debris" resulting
from the third and final shot that hit JFK in the head. This shot was
from TSBD6 fired by Lee Harvey Oswald.

Pretty simple.
