A tribute to Vanier, done in non-breaking form as a remembrance of his old posting style

I remember when Vanier first started posting here. He and Judi were
something of an item back then and they would tag team assault anyone that
posted in the group. Then Bruce came along and stole Judi's heart, and
they conspired to have Vanier arrested and so he was. I think he spent
four or five months in the hoosegow over that, boy was he pissed. Angry
at Bruce, angry at Judi, angry at his relatives, he became an oozing sore
of upset bitterness. He used to brag about getting BJ's from Judi but he
wouldn't let her kiss him, something to do with rancid breath. He loved
to belittle, in fact he never seemed happier then when he was pissing &
moaning over someone or some upset from long ago that he just couldn't put
to rest. He started claiming he was going to bring crime statistics to
zero, and for awhile crime stats did go down which whipped him into a real
"told you so" frenzy. This dip in crime became the definitive proof in
the pudding for his claim of enlightenment. He used it relentlessly,
slapping the face of everyone he could with his whiskey soaked
enlightenment, all from the comfortable seclusion of his government
provided apartment. These were certainly his best of times as he wore the
masks of drunk guru and frustrated process server. His need for an
audience kept the group fed with his rambling posts, and even some
entertaining video work. Who doesn't remember with fondness his Clark
Kent/Superman video. Yet for all his enlightenment he wasn't able to drop
his hurt feelings toward his family, a family deserving his constant
verbal abuse for the simple reason they would not or could not admit that
it was "they" who were dysfunctional, and not him as they insisted. He
used to say "you're only as sick as your secrets" and based on that he
figured that saying whatever popped into his head was more proof that he
wasn't holding anything back, that he wasn't a sick little ego like the
rest of us "maggots" (his favorite name for everyone outside himself).
Though shortly after admitting to a same sex tryout with his older brother
he dropped that schtick and moved on to more fanciful claims. He was
intensely caught up in detecting secret messages in the strangest of
places. He used to read meaning from the shades and windows in buildings,
in the eyes of celebrity photo's in the rags at the check-outs in grocery
stores, as well as finding intricate messages embedded into 72dpi web
images. It almost seemed as though the more ridiculous the idea the more
he embraced it, and it was during this phase of things that he began to
slip deeper into the machinations of his own crossed wires. Soon he was
telling us he had transported the entirety of the planet Earth, people,
animals, plants, dirt, the whole enchilada to another area of the
universe, to a Ring World which he created using the powers of his
enlightenment. The proof of this fantastic claim could be confirmed,
according to him, by simply looking into the sky at night to see for
yourself that all of the familiar stars were gone, except oddly enough for
some fifty or so. Anyone who tried to suggest they could see lots of
stars in the sky were identified as liars in denial. The point of all
this Ring World willy-nilly was never made clear though because it was
during this time that Vanier lost his comfy government provided apartment
and was forced to live on the streets from out of his car. This change in
circumstance turned out to be fortuitous for his cross wires as it forced
him to mingle with a select group of "down & outers", or "crazies" by
social standards and it was here that he found a new audience in which to
hawk his guru-ness. Having found an alternative set of ears to toot his
guru horn at, playing to a set of characters he could more easily dominate
with tales of power and enlightenment. He became less and less in need of
the little backwater cesspool of maggots that once kept his ego wheels
greased. And that pretty much brings us up to the present moment of
things. A time of ceremonial parting of seas so to speak, when the things
of the past slip ever quicker into the indistinct greyness of distant
perspectives. I for one salute the whole thing for what it was thought to
be, for what it wanted to be, and for knowing all the while it was never
as it seemed. So with the shadowy graveyard of things remembered
stretching out before me I turn and make my way into a past not yet born,
at the horizon of once upon a time.

stars missing from the night sky? With all that bullshit, I wonder
why, nothing is said of the one thing you find impossible to deny?

********SPV.....And Gordon you act like murder and rape is not down
90%....FBI.gov will tell you so.

So what is your bitch......Is this the best you can do to say you were
wrong, to say you were sorry for being such a smuck? What is it you
are really trying to say here? That what I claimed and who I am can
be just put aside by you being and forever an asshole about the truth?

One thing is certain.....I was perfectly correct and you are a
coward. And what broke it between us? I asked you man to man to tell
the world what you see when you look into a clear night sky and you
just balked at the truth. That and nothing else broke it between us.
You couldn't handle the truth. You weren't man enough to tell the
truth.

~~~AllisonWonderland~~~:
Gordon, THIS IS EXCELLENT! I'm impressed by the eloquence, and stunned by
the accuracy.
BTW, Blake graduated this week from University of Colorado at Boulder. Got
his degree in engineering. It just goes to prove that the "offspring sprung
higher than what it was sprung offa!" (Da Kingfish on Amos&Andy).
And so now where does that leave the GooRoovee? "He libin' in a stucco
covered homeless shelter, where it's the stucco, and he's da stuckee!"
(Another Da Kingfish of Amos&Andy).
And more news, there is a NEW messiah that has been charged with sex crimes.
Looks like he is going to be put away for a while. And another messiah, the
one from FLDS has been arrested for assisting a statutory rape.
I can't help but think that NOW is the time for the GooRoovee to make a
comeback. The world is indeed in need of a NEW messiah. All he'd have to do
is grow a full head of LONG hair, and a beard, and VOILA', he'd be "On the
road again!" (Willie Nelson)
Alas... (and sigh) :)
Well, it's about time for me to gather up the ~~~AllisonWonderCats~~~ and
head home from a vacation for my socks and me here in beautiful downtown
Burmuda.
In 2006, there were an estimated 92,455 forcible rapes reported to law
When compared with 2002 data, the estimated number of forcible rapes
The rate of forcible rapes in 2006 was estimated at 60.9 offenses per
2005 estimate of 62.7 forcible rapes per 100,000 female inhabitants.
Based on the number of rape offenses reported to the UCR Program in 2006,
rapes by force comprised 91.9 percent of reported rape offenses, and
assaults to rape attempts accounted for 8.1 percent of reported rape
every nigga gota nigga. whats wrong with this world is its all so
crazy how do you know what is and isn't bad anymore. they say america
is "free" because there are so many mind fuckers out to get you
atleast you get to choose. this is the corner some are backed into
because the negative kids and the negotiators pretending to be
tolerant of "differences" don't offer a "something" to fight for or
believe in. that's the problem, freedom of voice and religion has no
freedom to standardize the truth, and in america every one wanting to
do so is just another voice of religious craze.. trying to play the
game to their own advantage over everyone else under guise of a mass
controlled media propoganda to play to democracy.
it's another horizon to reach. the world wasn't better before it was
very much like one world your born in is the world you die in, now we
have to make effort to keep our mind prisons secure around us like
it's a personal choice or personal insanity.
and personal creativity is heard within the general kook stuff. kids
are born thinking life is all about making up bullshit to these
parents now days, if the parent is "free thinking" enough to let the
kid make it up for himself it is still based on the basic principle of
"anything goes man!"... there is this underlying fuzzy thinkers
approach to everything kind of dominating from behind whatever scenes
there are, and i bet even if the kid is like hitler the parents will
be pampering his beliefs, the kid doesn't have to buy into the
anything-goes mentality like his parents they might simply use it to
thrive in their own idealogy like extremists using multicultural-
sloguns to buy their way into the democratic loophole.
the world is like frankenstein and the creators are bad doctors, you
might even find a nose stitched on an ass (or two)..... its real ugly,
but its real fun too, you can ride with it if you treat it like a
phase maybe you can feel lucky to experience it all goin' on right now
but we might only just be entering the dark ages... everyone makes it
up as they go along, i think it iwll become more obvious how that is
happening, and we might find evolution take the opportunity in this
movement to make a move.
I must admit to not being one of the most proliferate posters in this
group, however I do occasionally make a point to read the writs of
certain posters besides Stephen and you: "dead" is not one of them.
Some of the old stuff back a couple years or more was extremely
His flock bailed him out. He went on a hunger strike, and so did they,
and he felt compelled to accept bail, so they wouldn't starve.....
Alas, then the answer is no.
We are having a heat wave here....the first of the summer. The
offshore winds are making it stinking hot. When I drove my son to
school this morning, it was 86 degrees.....at 7:30 a.m. :-(
Things are going along swimmingly here, sharks in the water, and all.
I know what you mean.
There might just be some more memorable times to be had just ahead. I hear
from my dresser drawer that there might be yet another plot a"foot", so to
speak!
~~~AW~~~:
When I put "(GRv)", I meant it as an acknowledgement of the quote. I don't
know that Stevie has actually used the words "little ungrateful booger", but
it conveys the attitude that the GRv has written with reference to Balke,
and "The Great Sleeping Under The Trailer Without A Jacket, In Seventy
Degree Below Zero Weather".

He's just a natural born loser/complainer.

His position now is tragic.
He'd love to be a magician.
All he's lacking is the magic.

Lucky for THEM! :) Pass the pizza.

"Just as we thought. May I see your passport please. Hmmmmmmm Doesn't look a
bit like you, now does it?"

Dog Days. It's a tad cooler here at the present, but VERY humid. If one gets
over exerted, one perspires. THEN the perspiration won't evaporate, and so
one gets to feeling "clammy". Takes a shower, and a dry T-Shirt to get over
it.

You don't want to go near no feeding frenzy either. Also, watchout for the
Pirhana.

Well, things are going along as well as possible here. The cats are fine,
the plants are fine, the house is fine, the car is fine. I'm doing VERY
well, very well indeed.

Hope this finds you zooming right along.
