REQUEST FOR DISCUSSION: alt.music.james-taylor

As in innovator in the singer-songwriter era in the early '70s, James
Taylor quickly became one of the most influential figures in that genre.
In the more than 30 years since he became the first artist signed to the
Beatles' Apple Records label, JT has developed an army of fans who
appreciate his softspoken personality and silky voice.

I propose a newsgroup to discuss JT's long career, current projects, tour
schedules, and other topics related to his music.  The alt.music hierarchy
seems the best place for this topic, though alt.fan.james-taylor is a
possible alternative.
