Startup problems
Problems with starting had been experienced for more than a week. My OS, Windows XP Home, has been reinstalled two times in the
last few days because of the startup problems; however, they are still occurring.

Do you think that Peer-to-Peer, FTP
IRC technologies etc...are too much complicated !? There is a simpler technology to use, Autosend. This software allows file-sharing by only using your e-mail account. Autosend allows sharing files on your computer through regular email. It is an automatic file mailer... more »

I have hard drives that causes my BIOS to freeze,and are not accessible to older computers where the BIOS sees the drive.
Is there a (nasty?) way to alter a computer so that there is a very simple-minded BIOS (say on the order of a Compaq Presario 5185 AMD K6-2) so then an extensive HD test suite could be used?... more »

Google home page now loads very slowly

My home page Google.com in the past always came up in a flash. But lately, it lugs along and loads very slowly.
I have run SpyBot, Super Spyware, cold boot, but if it does help, in is only short lived.
I have a Del 8300, XP Pro, am running Norton for years, Comcast for the internet.
Are there any thoughts on this?... more »

Files locked out by another process?????????????

I have a BAT file that calls QBX afile.BAS which reads INFILE and writes OUT1 and OUT2 and closes them, and i exit QBX.
I go to edit ANY of these and they are F-ing locked by another process.
How in the F can i find what GD process is involved?
