Problem to masterize with Nero 9.0.4b

Hi guys,
I've installed Nero 9.0.4b on my XP Pro SP3, but I cannot burn CDs or DVDs.

When it gets to that point, I would have expected it to have tried
to boot from something.
If you start it with no keyboard connected, is there
an error message on the screen to that effect ?

Thanks for your suggestions.
I have tried all that you suggest but the system still stops at a blinking
cursor.
I have reset the bios and the optical drive is set as the first boot-up
drive but I do not get the option to boot from a CD.
I think it is the motherboard, which never worked exactly properly to begin

If these were my two computers, I'd use a binary comparison utility of
some sort, to compare the two executables. Maybe one of the executables
is corrupted. Perhaps some previous malware attack and repair, has done
the damage ? Maybe an uninstall and reinstall of the application,

buy a new harddrive, that's really the easiest option. for the longest
time i had to deal with deleting stuff off my 80gb oem harddrive but
i'm a big bittorrent user and couldn't delete anymore stuff (I had
like 400mb left) so bought a 500GB HD for $140 at staples, but i saw
the same HD on tigerdirect for $60 so it's affordable and very useful

nevermind, i fixed the problem, if anybody is wondering i had to lower
hardware acceleration a step, it even says it should be set on that
level if you have problems with mouse
i found it hard to find so if anybody has this problem i hope this is
of use :3

NetMeeting takes 3M on my PC. Hardly an issue for space. It takes NO memory
if it is not running, therefore no resources. It takes space, but no
resources.
Robbing resources is a program that takes memory.

Disconnect any drives that aren't absolutely necessary.
*Make sure* there are no USB sticks, USB card readers or the like,
with media in them. Like leaving a camera memory plugged into your
card reader.

They do use up space on your computer, removing Moviemaker, Netmeeting and
MSN games freed up quite a bit. Why keep them if you aren't using them.
And no, these three programs did not show up in Add/Remove, nor would they
let you delete them. You delete them, and within a minute they would
reappear. You have to go into Safe Mode and put in a special string of text

I managed to use a second power supply and a second video card and the same
problem happens.
Unfortunately I do not have access to other RAM modules or another mobo to
find what the problem is.

Right click on the drive from my computer and click on the "cleanup disk"
button.
I had a system awhile back that had only 2 or 3 percent free. The disk
clean-up freed up considerable space.
