I know nothing about that particular software, but I know you can get an out
of memory message if your base ram (640k) doesn't have enough free memory.
This usually is only a factor on VERY old software. Might be the problem
might not. IF that is the problem, it's better to just get better software
than trying to free up base ram.

The Video Professor Program is new on the market (actually about 2 years
old.)
The program is still being marketed on the tv and just about any other
public media. Any body have other ideas?

Nonsense! If you have low memory from programs running in the background
the system will use virtual memory. If you have enough running to run out
of virtual memory then you will get a low virtual memory message, not an out
of memory message.

You had better find out what heaps are before you go correcting people
and embarrass yourself further.

so you're telling me then, if you have a bunch of programs running in the
background that is more than the amount of ram you are running in windows
you'll get an out of memory message?

I'll be happy to send you a screenshot of utilizing >1 gb of memory on a
system with 128 megs RAM.
