Sloooow start-up...

XP SP3, Media Center 2005.
I have lots of icons on desktop, including folders with Word.docs.
I recall that if I make some of those folders into "short cuts", it can
speed up start-up, and turn-off.
I forgot how to make the original folders NOT show on desktop,
or activate till called up by shortcut.

Well that t program does allow you to simply delete programs that start
automatically on startup, you only need the basics.
