I have an old AM TECH pc with 10gb hard drive. I'd like to put a 250gb
hard drive in it.
What I need is a clean boot to a blank C: drive.
I also have good backup images on a usb external hard drive. These things
are full images, so that where windows will come on C: drive from.
What happens when I put a 250gb hard drive in my pc? Does BIOS recognize it
and let me see most of it?
I know the old thing about Windows is you must have 48bit (ATAPI.SYS) for it
to recognize anything over 137gb. However, windows won't be a part of
this. It will just be bios.
So, what do I need to do to put the 250gb drive in????
