Does anyone know how to join the KeePass forum?

I cannot find any way of doing so ...

Yes and no. That registration page says nothing about
KeePass but we'll see what happens.

NOTE: Attribution lines shortened for clarity. Mixed quoting prefixes
changed to use the same character.

Sourceforge is a site that hosts MANY development projects, not just
Keepass. They provide file servers for FOSS (free and open source
software), bulletin boards or forums, and even webhosting so a project
has a site.

http://sourceforge.net/about
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SourceForge

This is like WildersSecurity.com which provides forums for MANY software
vendors. You join and log into the site and then visit the project or
forum you choose.

Like corporations sharing the leasing cost of a company jet, sharing
resources for forums, code repositories, and sites allows for free or
cheap resources for the owners or authors. These are collective sites.

:o)) After three days of trying on-and-off, I finally managed to
post in the KeePass forum.

What a convoluted system !

I created an account and can then read/post to the Keypass forums :)

Got it now, thanks, but what a convoluted business
setting it up.

Starting from:

http://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/

- Click "Join".
- Enter my specifics (just like at other forums).
- Click "Register".
- Wait for the confirmation e-mail.
- Click on a link in the e-mail.

If you thought this was difficult, you will find many if not most forums
will be similarly difficult. This is the same register-confirm process
used by a vast number of forums.

Anyone can read these forums. You only need to register if you want to
post there. Same for many other forums, too.

Yes, I know. The problem was finding HOW and WHERE to
join the forum.

Huh? David told you to click on Join. He even gave you the URL to the
web page that the Join link would take you to. It doesn't take 3 days,
as you claimed, to find the Join link or to fill out their registration
form. Something else confused you.

Yes I know. the "was" in my last post referred to a time
before I had asked on here.

Well done ! Presumably you managed to join it despite
the means of doing so being so well hidden.

Well I'm only reading but I presume if you wanted to post you'd join here
