I am presently using a slow Dial-Up ISP to go on the Internet. I have
Outlook Express configured for email and newsgroups (my ISP furnishes an
adequate newsgroup server). I want to switch to high speed Internet by
either cable, DSL, etc. My problem is that they don't furnish newsgroup
servers to imput to their news accounts in Outlook Express in a similar way
you would insert the email server.

My question is: what do people who want access to the newsgroups do when
they switch to higher speed DSL, Cable, etc. I would appreciate replies
informing of the best thing to do.

I have AT&T DSL service. AT&T provides free news servers for their Internet
customers. I'm not sure about the other high-speed providers. There are some
other free news servers, but I am not familiar with them or how well they
work.

As a last resort, there is always Google Groups.
