Just wanted to share this experience with the world. Curious to know how many others are also facing the same problem with Alexa toolbar. Avira gives 54 warnings!

Hello, After having scanned certain disc for rootkits and found nothing, Avira advised me to do a (rootkit)scan of the system partition. I made the scan and was somewhat alarmed to find 54 (!) warnings in the scanreport. Would somebody please give his/her comment on this? -------------------- extracts of report... more »

Help with strange file that won't delete

In the past week, something on my HD hads been generating several instances of a file named cmsstorage.lst. It appears in 1/2 dozen folders and when deleted it reappears a few minutes later. It appears to contain 0 bytes and has the hidden attribute set. Norton AV doesn't flag it, nor does Registry Mechanic find anything... more »

Hello group One of my friends have difficulty removing/uninstalling malwarebytes antimalware completely and therefore he can't instal other antivirus to his PC. BTW He is not happy with malware bytes and therefore want to get rid of it and install NOD 32 or kaspersky. He is asking also if there is an easy way to do it also without going... more »
