I was put on hold, although I was told initially the wait would be 5
minutes....after a half hour I was really starting to wonder. I kept up
this marathon, getting more and more loopy because of the ghastly muzak on
the line.....and finally gave up with 15 minutes left for them to be open.
How MUCH time did I wait on hold? 137 minutes. That's over two hours,
and no answer. I finally called the US customer support line, they said
they'd help me...they didn't seem especially happy to be dealing with it.
I finally had it with waiting; first on hold for over two hours; then again
to get somebody to deal with the call......when they came back on the line I
said I'd had it.....
Two hours? I wrote a letter
They tried to get rid of you and wondered what kind of a sucker is this that refuses
to give up. Then they made the muzak more irritating.

Leila
1) I waited...some weird number of minutes....150 minutes or some such
without them answering my call
2) called another day...got customer service after another substantial wait.
I splained what my problem was and they dicked around for an hour with me
not resolving what I was calling about.
3) I sent them a letter of complaint addressed to the main office in the US,
and their Canadian counterpart. I received NO response.
4) Found out myself though folks on this newsgroup; that my issue had all to
do with Vista; and no, I couldn't hotsync using bluetooth with that laptop.
Customer service should have told me about this known issue instead of
trying all sorts of other stuff. I found out on my own when stumbling to
find my own solution; since Palm didn't know what they were doing.
I have reason for saying they suck. Case closed.

It is not clear cut at all as we didn't listen to the conversation and so
only have your version of what happened.
