Hi all
Can somebody help me please.

I use a Palm TX, syncing to Windows XP by means of Hotsync Manager 6.0.1.

I've started getting this error when I hotsync:

HotSync operation started for SimpyJohnny on 10/26/09 19:08:28

Expense - sync configured to Do Nothing
OK Quick Install
OK Adobe Reader
VersaMail
- Sync configured to Do Nothing
OK Note Pad
OK RepliGo
4cast 1.93 (001) Conduit started 10/26/09 19:08:52
"HotSync" option disabled in 4cast...
OK 4cast weather sync ended
Contacts synchronization failed

Protocol Error: Too many files. (4403)

HotSync operation completed on 10/26/09 19:08:52

It has all been working fine until now, and I have not recently installed
any new software.

Can somebody suggest what's going wrong, and - better still - how to fix it.
Thanks
John

How many contacts have you added/updated since the last HotSync?

Two or three maybe before it first happened, but since then I have gone
through the database on the TX and removed a couple of dozen or so.

I've just tried another hotsync and it was OK. So I don't know what's going
on, but it seems OK now. Maybe it's just one to watch and not worry too much
unless it happens again.
Thanks for your help.
