Restoring Quicken 2003 backup data to Windown 7

I tried to install my old copy of Quicken 2003 on my new Windows 7 system but had no success,I guess it's a new copy of Quicken for me. will I be succesful in restoring my old backup data to a new version of Quicken? Tommy

2 line registers in 2010

Q Premier, 2010 R3 I use two line registers in all my check and credit card registers. I just created a new credit card account and it shows up with one-line registers. Help says to go to View/one line display and to uncheck it. But that option is not available-- nothing under View tab says anything about one-line... more »

Over a year ago, I had two major problems with (Mac) Quicken that compelled me to leave it for iBank because no one here, nor on Quicken support, could answer two simple, but major problems I encountered. Sadly, in my opinion, R3 adds back the startup sound that I find annoying and unnecessary. I've sent feedback suggesting that Intuit make the sound a Startup Preference. Vanguard - changing ownership/acct numbers

I have two regualr mutual fund accounts with Vanguard; acct 123 - has handful of funds - single owner acct 456 - has handful of funds (different) - joint ownership I am going to change ownership of the single (123) acct and migrate it to the joint ownership acct. Verify that your statement ending date is correct. And that the "posting date"* of the "missing" transaction is on, or earlier, than your statement ending date. Download error reading update file

Got the notice in Quicken 2010 that R3 was available. The download started, but apparently failed. Now, every time I go to Help / Update Quicken, and choose Download Latest Version, then Update Now, I get Download error reading data file - right after I click the button. My guess is this is a corrupted download somewhere on my hard drive,... more »

I'm using Quicken 2009. In addition to my investments like mutual funds and bonds and the like, I have a large bank CD and substantial cash held in savings accounts and the like at my bank.
