Anyone using Q2010 with Wachovia? Many Thanks!
I wasted a lot of time during the past couple of weeks trying to
setup online bill pay through Quicken 2010. I just called customer
service and found that Wachovia does not yet support bill pay through
Quicken 2010. Why don't the online bill pay help pages say that? It
would
have saved me a lot of time. Downloading transactions works fine. The
error message that I got from Quicken 2010 when I tried to set up bill
pay at Wachovia was misleading. It said there was a temporary problem
(which was not my fault) with the bank's website. It said try again
later.
Yah, much later!
That's the same "not your fault" message I've been getting for a couple of
weeks from Q2010 Deluxe when I try to set up ("Activate Downloads") my
account with Broadway Bank in San Antonio. Often the error is reported as
OL-221-A or OL 221-8. The Release Notes for Release R 3 say that one of the
fixes in it is to cure the OL-221 problem. Several voice calls to the bank
have got me the promise that the bank knows about the problem, knows the
problem is on the bank's end, is working on it, and that it will be fixed in
days, not months.
We'll see.
