Apparently serious bug in A/R in PTComplete 8

We are using Peachtree Complete Version 8. We have about 4 accounts in the
Chart of Accounts that are declared as Accounts Receivable (Account Type).
When we generate the Aged Receivables or the Customer Ledger by filtering on
one of these A/R accounts we get the following error message.

File system error number: 44 in file C:\peachw\BCS\JrnlRow.DAT; click help
for
more information.

And then the usual Fatal file error and so on. This problem exits no matter
on which computer we install Peachtree and run it.

Please this is a very urgent matter, and I would appreciate all the help I
can
get on this.

Did you try running repair company so that the index for jrnlrow.dat will be
rebuilt?

The application tried to use the Get Direct/Record operation to establish
positioning on an index path for a key whose value is null in the
corresponding record. The MicroKernel cannot establish positioning based on
a null key value.

It is a known bug and PT is working on a fix. It won't happen if you do not
filter the AR accounts.
