Description: The primary function of the Lead Engineer, Global Engineering Project Management is to be the Project Manager lead for all Capital investments being executed by Global Engineering at the assigned sites. You will provide the necessary leadership, resources internal and external and management support to ensure the success of all Global Engineering projects at the specified sites. The engineer is also responsible to directly manage projects as assigned by the Managing Engineer, Global Engineering Project Management and to partner with other Global Engineering Project Managers to ensure proper project management of all Capital investments globally. Provides leadership for the planning, development, and ongoing tracking of annual Capital spending plan for the specified sites. The Annual Global Engineering Capital spend for sites ranges from $5MM to $15MM. Integrates cost reduction, best project management skills, and ongoing execution improvement into capital projects. Partner with other site based engineering and project management staff. Responsible for partnering with Safety organization to ensure proper safety programs are in place and effective. Minimum Bacheloras degree in engineering or related field; specifically Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical. Minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical industry experience. Technical experience in pharmaceutical facility design and construction. Plant experience at the management level is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management. A minimum of 4 years of experience managing consulting and contract engineering resources in support of capital project implementation
