How to remove the IR filter? 
  I want to remove the IR filter from an Intel CS330 webcam. Doesn't appear to have a separate filter. Looks like the purplish coating on the lens does it??? How do I remove the coating without hurting the lens? Tried sulfuric acid. Didn't touch it. Any idea what it's made of? Suggestions? thanks mike... more »

Any USB 2.0 WebCam 640x480 at 30fps? 
  Hello Group, I am looking for a USB 2.0 WebCam that can provide 640x480 at 30fps (without tweaking the software). The only webcam I have found that will do this is a USB WebCam that is built into a Sony Viao notebook. I have tried Microsoft VX-1000 and VX-3000. I have also tried a Logitech QuickCam IM.... more »

Software question 
  I just set up my webcam with streaming video. I am using Coffee Cup. It works great, though I don"t like the delay. However, it only works with Internet Explorere. My friends that have Macs can't see it using Firefox or Safari. Does anybody know of a program that I can use that can be seen on Firefox and Safari?... more »

Looking for a webcam with RS232 / Parallel connection
