hi martin
a laser pointer would temp make it white out but not much else.... is there
a reason why your neighbour has a webcam pointed at you?
just get a decent strong light and point it directly at the webcam...
that'll confuse it a little and stop your neighbour from watching you naked.
but might make no difference at all.......

My neighbour is spying on me with a webcam. Is there any way to sabotage
it without physically braking it? Would a laser pointer do it?

lol thanks for the comment..
i think its possible for around £250 to £300 to build a system like mine...
cheaper if you hunt around for the bits needed,, good old ebay.
all i have to do is buy a replacement camera now and again and it runs 24/7
without too much fuss.

the dvr card was something like £10 delivered for that from hong kong....
the cameras vary... about £25 upwards from hong kong also, (each).
gotta watch out for customs duties though... make sure the seller says there
wont be any then if you get hit by them u can make them pay.
the main reason for all the cctv is this is a rough council estate.... and

got a similar set up too what you are sort of wanting....
i use a dvr card bought off ebay,, takes 4 cameras up too 16, not webcams
but cctv cameras also off ebay.
i have a dedicated pc for this as of course the software is quite
hungry.....
the dvr card also has a quad processor into one of the feeds so making 7

I'm thinking about some multiple webcam surveillance system.
Digging on the internet it looks like there are some home-made apps, not so
professional...
Are there some reasons for this? Maybe streaming video from multiple
webcams, easily chokes the PC even if a powerhorse? Or?
What about connecting 4/8 webcams to a PC? Any particular requirements?
