  <title type="text">How to remove the IR filter?</title>
  <summary type="html" xml:space="preserve">
  I want to remove the IR filter from an Intel CS330 &lt;br&gt; webcam. Doesn&#39;t appear to have a separate filter. &lt;br&gt; Looks like the purplish coating on the lens does it??? &lt;br&gt; How do I remove the coating without hurting the lens? &lt;br&gt; Tried sulfuric acid. Didn&#39;t touch it. &lt;br&gt; Any idea what it&#39;s made of? &lt;br&gt; Suggestions? &lt;br&gt; thanks &lt;br&gt; mike

  Hello Group, &lt;br&gt; I am looking for a USB 2.0 WebCam that can provide 640x480 at 30fps &lt;br&gt; (without tweaking the software). &lt;br&gt; The only webcam I have found that will do this is a USB WebCam that is &lt;br&gt; built into a Sony Viao notebook. &lt;br&gt; I have tried Microsoft VX-1000 and VX-3000. I have also tried a &lt;br&gt; Logitech QuickCam IM.

  I just set up my webcam with streaming video. I am using Coffee Cup. &lt;br&gt; It works great, though I don&amp;quot;t like the delay. However, it only works &lt;br&gt; with Internet Explorere. My friends that have Macs can&#39;t see it using &lt;br&gt; Firefox or Safari. &lt;br&gt; Does anybody know of a program that I can use that can be seen on &lt;br&gt; Firefox and Safari?

  Hi All, &lt;br&gt; I have a very old small computer which I want to use as a sort of &lt;br&gt; webcam server. &lt;br&gt; My problem is that it hasn&#39;t a USB port and there aren&#39;t any free &lt;br&gt; ISA/PCI slots. &lt;br&gt; So I am looking for a webcam which has a serial (RS232) or Paraller &lt;br&gt; interface, anyone know a type of a webcam which I can use? &lt;br&gt; Many thanks!
