X800gto not gto2 pipeline unlock

I have an x800gto and suposedly is is only the gto2 which can be
unlocked because it has the r480 core but my sapphire normal x800gto
also has the r480 core so does this mean that i will be able to unlock
pipelines?

the GTO2 is a made up model name, ati don't make a GTO2 afaik

my so called GTO2 unlocked fine using their bios, it depends on the chip
batch i think
the site also tells you how to check if your card will unlock or not
