2. Power on the pc.
3. Touch the CPU and find that it's extremely hot.
If this is what you did, then here is what you should know:
1. Never power-on a PC without a heatsink on the cpu.
2. NEVER touch a CPU while it's running.
3. Buy a new CPU.
If it's you removed the heatsink right after powering off, and the cpu was
hot, then make sure it's properly seated. Use thermal paste in the
future... Chances are, you fried your cpu.
