Hello,

When I attempt to hot sync my LifeDrive I get the message that the USB
device is not recognized. I have tried this on notebooks running
Windows XP Tablet and Windows XP. Any advice? Thanks.

You could try a soft reset on the LD. Does Drivemode work?

Tried soft reset and Drivemode doesn't work. This is an extremely
expensive paperweight.

Do you have another PC that you can try it on? It might be that the USB
on the PC is not working. Or maybe the cable is defective. I have a
cheap USB cradle that gives this kind of error, but my other cradle and
"normal" cable work just fine.

Has it ever synced? Could you try a hotsync over a wireless connection?

I've tried on another PC and other USB ports on my Tablet PC. I also
tried IR hotsync.

It previously hotsynced. Then crashed and I had to do a hard reset.
The LifeDrive now shows that it was never hotsynced. I also installed
the latest Palm Desktop.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled Desktop. Finally the Lifedrive
connects via the IR to my PC. However, the hotsync stalled when
supposedly installing docs and did not write my calendar, addressbook,
etc. to the Lifedrive.

I noticed that I have AddIt on the LifeDrive, but tapping it gives the
following:
Error loading file AddIt-Content, record #0.

Any advice?
