Which Distro for a really old Laptop? 
  I have in my possession a Panasonic Toughbook CF-47. It originally had Windows 2000 on it. FAT32 vs NTFS, can Linux be used under NTFS? 
  I'm confused, I was told initially that Linux had to be put on a system that was formatted to FAT32. Yet I've seen posts about Linux under NTFS. Location of Firfox 3.08 executable 
  I'm trying to figure out where the executable of Firefox wound up. This is Ubuntu Jaunty and Firefox 3.0.8 was installed via the Synaptic Manager. Live CDs fail with -- Failed to mount /dev/sr0 -- ERROR: cannot find booted cdrom device. 
  I have an ASUS P5B motherboard to which is connected a Plextor SATA DVD-RW. If I try booting various live CDs (ArchLinux, DreamLinux, KNOPPIX etc) they all fail with a message similar to Failed to mount /dev/sr0 ERROR: cannot find booted cdrom device during the booting of the kernel.
