OT: Classic 1985 Computer Cartoon Found....

This message is OT, but since we are mostly technophiles ‘round these
parts, you might find it worthwhile.
Back in the 80’s, I saw a computer-related cartoon that I thought
hilarious -- it showed up in quite a number of venues back then.
Over the years, I’ve looked around for a copy of that cartoon, and
I’ve never been able to find it. Since it is the funniest computer
cartoon I’ve seen, I’ve found this a bit frustrating.
I reignited my search for the cartoon when I noticed that it had
inspired the writing of a book -- that can’t be said of too many
cartoons!

This book was inspired by [a cartoon on] the cover of a Datamation
magazine that appeared about 20 years ago. It shows a man in an

of him. The poor guy has his hands poised over the keyboard, but the
rest of the machine is in tiny pieces all over the room. His eyebrows
have been burned off, his hair is blown straight back, and his coffee
cup has tipped over. There's a huge cloud of black smoke over his

is obvious that the computer has exploded about five seconds earlier.
He's thinking, "It's never done that before...."

It seems that it was originally featured on the June 15, 1985 edition
of Datamation magazine ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datamation ),
one of the many “defunct American computer magazines” (

).

Thats what happens, wenn people are quantum mechanic active and programmed
not to write negative comments about certain individuals!
While at the same time being programmed to only do
"whats absolutely nessecary to stay alive"
Expensive in keyboards, if af fried mainboard or CPU is enough to
get the victim to open his veins!
