Whom are you alerting? Do you think that anyone who saw the parent
message isn't already aware that it's spam?

(1) The Subject line is designed to make you click. I did, under the
assumption it was a question about video in C++.

(2) I am alerting the OP to "fly" off.

(3) I am doing "garbage collection" in the list of headers, marking
them.

(4) I am pushing that SPAM message down the stack. Top of stack no
more!

(5) I removed the SPAMous body of the message.

You are creating more noise. Please don't post followups to spam.

Keith:

I will post exactly one, which changes any misleading subject line.

Please post exactly none. Posting followups to spam does not help
anyone, it draws more attention to the original spam, and it adds
more noise to the newsgroup.

When I saw your initial followup, I had already read the spam and
moved on. Since you changed the subject, there was no immediate
connection to the spam. I had to go to the parent article to find
out what you were talking about.

I'm here to read about C and C++, not about "Flash Video Capture" *or*
about "spam alerts". I can't do much about the former; spammers will
not listen to reason. I'm hoping that you will.

Those of us who use a decent Usenet provider with spam filters didn't
even see the original, so please don't.
