Item 1 and 3 seem to be the same thing except for the model numbers
and the price.
What is the difference?
They could be different generations of drives. One could have a
different platter density than the other. Drive mechanism prices
fall with generation, so that could be a factor. And in fact, you
may find even better prices than the ones on Amazon.

What really counts, is the reviews for each drive. If there are
more DOAs for one model than the other, I really wouldn't care
what the price difference was. I'd want a solution that works.
So first find reliability data, in the form of customer reviews,
and go from there.

I'd use the Newegg advanced search, sort drives by reputation,
take the part number, and search the Internet for one of those.
I'm not seeing a lot of "I lost my data" in the reviews so far.
The first review here, is 11/19/2008, so there should have been
time for some 3 month failures, if they were going to show up.
