I bought a new PC (only a P133) to network, i installed the Ethernet card
and the HDD but when it came to plugging the keyboard in, the port was
bigger than the keyboard i'd bought, it had 5 thin holes in and the keyboard
had 6 round prongs, can i buy an adapter for this??

I've seen ones that go the other way, i.e. Old AT Keyb interface to
PS/2 socket.

You can still buy the old AT keyboards if you have no luck, e.g.
www.dabs.com look at the Dabsvalue keyboards, from £3.00, probably
cheaper than an adaptor.

This is an older "AT" style keyboard connector.

Your keyboard has a "PS/2" style connector.

Go to www.cyberguys.com for adapters (or a local computer store, but
watch out for the prices. CompUSA will kill you for a little adapter
in a plastic baggie.).

There are adapters to go BOTH ways between these connectors, so be
certain to get the one you need-

FEMALE "Din5" to MALE "Din6" is how your adapter is described.
