OS Windows XP SP3

Does anybody know where I can get a legacy 8X AGP card with drivers?
I'm not in a position to get a new pc right now and I think that the on
board graphics is starting to go. I get a white screen with color
venetian blinds when using any theme that includes wallpaper. Right now
I have a screen while using the Windows Classic theme.

I live in the USA so I need a source in country.

TIA

See replies to your SAME post that you separately MULTI-posted in other
newsgroups. Now you'll have to remember to which other newsgroups you
multi-posted and go check each of them for replies instead of
maintaining the discussion within a single cross-posted thread.

This may sound kinda dumb but have u tried looking in craigslist
already? I see people always selling their oldies but goodies on
there.

As a matter o' fact, I just got back home from meeting a dude that
traded me an ATI RADEON 3870 video card for my Pentium D 820 CPU.
Does the video card work? I dont know cuz I havent tried it yet but
those are the risk you gotta take when dealing in craigslist but I am
sure it will work... if not, then I will trade it for something else
and with someone else... LOL

Of the cards there, the most trouble-free might be an older card.
The Nvidia 6200 for example, the 6200 is the oldest low end Nvidia card
still receiving token support.

The other cards, ATI Radeon ones, are more powerful for things
like 3D gaming. But the trick with those, is reading the
customer feedback for the item, and ascertaining whether
anyone knows the location of the best driver download
for the card. Some of those ATI cards, there is only one
good driver, and no continuing support to get better drivers.
So don't buy a bridged AGP card from ATI, without first determining
that the existing customers are happy with their purchase.

The 6200 is older and lower performance, but the driver is
going to be mature for it. If you're not gaming, it's good
enough. If you want to play 3D games, and are willing to
take some risk, something like the 4650 might be nice.
