I searched through various freeware sites that are commonly listed here, then I headed over to Softpedia and searched for freeware MP4 utilities and I found and tested out a few. I managed to find one and ran a few AVIs through it only to find that they talked faster on the video than Alvin's chipmunks! If this isn't the appropriate ng to ask for Linux freeware, pls advise where. I've searched the available ngs but there's few relating to Linux apps, it seems, let alone freeware. thx... more »

My system is Dell Dimension 3000,XP: SP3. I recently got the MSE and its fine. The old One Care used to optimize MS. I like Advanced System Care.
