If you'd checked the ACF pages first you could have saved yourself some
time. ;)

Susan,
The pricelesswarehome link for Deep Paint returns a "Not Found" from Download.com.
The file itself can still be downloaded using the link above.
Based on this post from Sundance, I sent a Broken link report to
2007...@pricelesswarehome.org two days ago.
Maybe it would have been better if I had posted that information here. :)

I realized after sending this that I didn't munge the email address. :'(
Hope it doesn't cause you any major spam problems.

Hi Allan,
Humble apologies for my stupidity and slowness in responding, RL is
taking most of my time ATM. The current status with the download.com
links as seen from here:
http://www.download.com/3000-2191_4-10398243.html (desc.) *NOT FOUND
http://www.download.com/3001-2191_4-10398243.html (DL page) *IFFY -
*sometimes* found, sometime NOT found
http://www.download.com/3002-2191_4-10398243.html (2nd DL page) *Good
ATM. . . I hae some doubt the download pages will last. . .
The other link given above by Sundance Kid leads to a different file:
http://download.chip.eu/en/Deep-Paint-2.0_132831.html
dpaint_2.0.0.23.exe (59535 KB)
The file from download.com is named DeepPaint.zip (59475 KB) - as it
should be per the info here:

Hi Barbara,
Deep Paint will be uploaded to CNET very shortly (next couple of days max).
Once this has been done you will need to download this version of Deep
Paint as it will have had the 'register now' functionallity taken out.
I will post on the Deep Paint forum when this has been done for you to
download the FREE version of Deep Paint.
Cheers,
Carl.

Hi Guys,
The free version of Deep Paint has been submitted to CNET but at this
stage it still has not come up - not sure what the delay is.
BUT.... since there is a demand for Deep Paint see the below link, this
is a link to the FREE version of Deep Paint:
Deep Paint - FREE version
(http://www.righthemisphere.com/products/dpaint/downloads/DeepPaint.zip)
Carl.
</q>
Note: the above link is no longer good.
The same zip file seems to be available here:
http://www.filewatcher.com/b/ftp/ftp.sharewarecenter.de/downloads.2.3.html
ftp://ftp.sharewarecenter.de/downloads/DeepPaint.zip
(59475 KB)
That's too big a download for me to do an exact comparison but it looks
right. I'll change the ACF page to show that link.
> I realized after sending this that I didn't munge the email address. :'(

Nope. It's shown on ALL the PWH web pages and I've been known to post it
myself. When the spam gets too bad I change the email address. FWIW, ATM
almost all the spam is "program updates" from the dad-dratted dirty
brackafrax auto-submitters.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download5714.html.
This program allows for creation of new, original paintings; pasting
together a montage or collage; editing of existing pictures; Viewing;
Conversions; Printing several to a page .. seeming endless utility.
There are several AUTOMATIC rendering features to improve those
digital shots suffering from poor light, coloring, exposure, etc.
for those having little experience manipulating myriad controls
manually for brightness/contrast/hue/focus/color enhancement.
Used together with a freebie viewer like Slowview, pointing to
PhotoScape for editing purposes, the combination is difficult to
beat. XNView or IrfanView cannot quite equal this combination IMHO
Heartily recommended.
