Truecrypt 6.2a has been released.

Improvements and bug fixes:

* Improved file container creation speed on systems having issues with
write block sizes greater than 64 KB. (Windows)

* The 'Device not ready' error will no longer occur when the process of
decryption of a system partition/drive is finished. (Windows)

* Other minor improvements and bug fixes. (Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux)

Strange that the author(s) would append an "a" to the end of the name,
since it's described as the "Latest Stable Version" on the download page.

Oh well, thanks!

You are aware, are you not, that there are probably hundreds of
thousands, even millions of people that read these newsgroups, and have
never once posted to them, and never will post anything to them?

It just so happens that I was only one of those millions of people. I've
been a reader here for several years, and have benefited greatly from
everyone's contributions. So I decided that I would make my own
contribution to alt.comp.freeware, and also at the same time make my
first post to Usenet.

I was unaware that one first has to build up a foundation of posts
before being allowed to post here, and only then after getting
permission from you, Ron May.

I'm truly sorry you feel the way you do. But, lucky for you I've been
reading alt.comp.freeware long enough to know that you are the
hyper-paranoid one in the bunch, and very easily spooked. So, I'm going
to overlook this confrontation, and ask that you please take your own
advice, which you so urgently request others to follow, and do not
respond to any more of my posts. You have my permission to include me in
your killfile.

Regards,

Permission? The only reason I see your post is that I double monitor ACF
through Google Groups. You're never going to be whitelisted, we have
voted and that is that. So off with you asshole troll.

Or you could volunteer to do work on the Pricelessware website for me,
then I *might* reconsider.

Stupid program. Much more than needed by the average secure. Too

Anything from *gabrix.ath.cx* is a forgery, the above post you replied
to wasn't really Ron May replying but was instead from someone who would
rather disrupt this newsgroup by posting as someone else using an
anonymous news server.

The post to which I'm replying is a forgery which was sent through
news.gabrix.ath.cx, which I do not have an account with. I did not send
that post. I only post through Computer Country, an ISP in Oregon, or on
rare occasions, through Motzarella.

This group is being flooded with forgeries. Keep your eyes open by

No apology necessary. It wasn't your fault. I already replied, but
only to correct the record. It's a damn shame that a few assholes
just want create disruption for disruption's sake. There was a time
