Runtime's "Shadow Copy"

Saw this one listed at Snapfiles:

Might be a good way to back up a system on a spare hard drive. First,
you could back up the entire drive, then limit the backups to only the
system folder or others as needed. I know that it doesn't do incremental
backups of course.
Uses Microsoft's Volume Shadow Services.

I installed this program and although it has a built in promotion of Run

Time's other software, it works well and has a very simple interface.
It seemed that it would probably be a good way to get around XXCopy's
limitations until I noticed the following:
* You need to make the new partition active (in Windows Disk Management).
* You also might need to set a new Disk ID using DriveImage XML.
* You will probably have to reactivate Windows and some other
copy-protected programs.
These might not be deal killers though. Hard to tell yet.
