LOL...tis impossible yet. I will say to watch this for all of you music
lovers, as I've been told by a project manager this will be a very good
training aid.

Apparently nothing has even been released as of Aug. 4.
Did you get the impression the OP tried this?
>>>Nope.
I didn't see anything in the OP's question to base an impression on; in
fact I never saw his message so all I know about it is BB's one line
quote from it. BB, of course, could have been speaking for himself, or
he could have been assuming facts not in evidence. I did think my
addendum might be helpful to some users.

Is there a place where it documents what this software is supposed to
do, or are you just intruiged because it says "ear training"?
Anyway, if anyone is interested in simple ET software and resources (for
Windoze, mostly) you might look at

This is an Open Source project under development that will train the ear
of the musically inclined. A Project manager tells me it will be released
soon and is going to be one of the best available. The post was a heads up.
As the software is unreleased the quality of is unproven and therefore
it can not be assessed by anyone independent as good or bad.
The OP goofed up by not even checking the existence of the software that
he was telling us about.
Personally, if I wanted a list of unchecked or unassessed freeware then
I would prefer to use Google to find applications rather than have
someone post messages aboutnon-existent software in ACF.
Hi all,
sorry for uncomplete information. I'm jeartraining developer and I
don't have much time to upload files and documentation. About october
it will be finished and I will upload relase version. It's my final
project at university. It's an ear training tool to musicians and any
of your suggestions would be debated to improve the tool.
Cheers

Thanks Fernando. We will be looking forward to the release.

What uncomplete information are you sorry for? You didn't post
anything. Or did you?
I am sure you are working on your software but the sourceforge site was
created in early July and doesn't contain anything.
Maybe it will be great freeware. Right now I have to say it is
vapourware.
How could Mr Bottoms honestly think we needed to be told about something
which is not available as it does not yet exist?
It seems like so many of Mr Bottoms's recommendations: he doesn't even
try to download the things he posts about.
What's the point of Mr Bottoms telling us the unverified rumors about
freeware which he's picked up from someone else?
Hi all,

Details on sourceforge project are the beggining,
>> I am sure you are working on your software but the sourceforge site was created in early July and doesn't contain anything.
The site was created when I started to develop it, I have reserved the
site for the project. I can't upload files until I have exhibited at
university. Don't feel good that some people can get the sources, and
break my exhibition. In all that I finished it, I will publish code.
Please be patient, don't discuss, and make suggestions to improve it.
>> Maybe it will be great freeware. Right now I have to say it is vapourware.
I agree with you. There isn't nothing to demonstrate how does it work
(not yet to download)
I withdraw of this discussion, the above mentioned thing, all the
projects take his phase of planning, analysis and design.
This is the beggining.
See you son.

Fernando, Franklin is our local Troll and has a thing for me. He is simply
trying to prove any point he can to dig me. Ignore him. We are
appreciative of the anticipation for this free upcoming offer of a good
musical ear training software.
Fernando, I am sorry that Mr Bottoms has pre-announced some freeware.
In this group we usually post recommendations and it is clear he must
have heard of your project from someone who had not explained it was
not released. Unfortunately he posted about it as if he was
recommending it.
As it is still at the beginning phase (presumably it is at a planning
stage) then it's difficult to think how Mr Bottoms could be genuinely
in a position to recommend it.
Software needs to be tried to be assessed but Mr Bottoms sometimes
doesn't even download what he recommends at all.
We get this quite a bit from Mr Bottoms so please don't worry. He
should not have put you and your software in such an awkward position
that we have to discussing it prematurely.
