Since Last Pass has developed an extension for Chrome, I have switched to
it as my browser of choice. It is unbelievably faster than FireFox. It is
also very very nice in it's simplicity.

To use Last Pass, one must use the Beta or Dev versions of Chrome. I chose
the Beta channel. Soon I will be able to use the latest release candidate
as the Last Pass extionsion is already stable and Chrome will allow
extensions into their stable versions.

Goodbye FireFox. I always liked Opera better than FireFox but Opera still
doesn't allow third party extensions, thus I cannot fully use Last Pass
with it...it is why I left Opera. Chrome is actually better than Opera.
FireFox is a hog and I can find better alternatives to the extensions
available to Fx and have never used them but for LastPass. Chrome is
actually gaining more extensions and will soon rival Fx's anyway.

The problem with Chrome is they archive your usage. If that doesn't
bother you then I guess it's okay.

Have downloaded and installed. Very Nice on Win7

Going to look for Last Pass now.

LastPass maintains your (ENCRYPTED locally before you upload) passwords
on their website. Use a strong LastPass password and that is the only
password you will ever have to remember. There are extensions for Chrome
and Fx which you download...for Chrome you need to install the Beta or
Dev versions to use the extensions till they move it to the release
candidate program. It is absolutely safe and secure. I've used it and
researched it since it came out.

Ignore idle talk about a backdoor in their encryption algorithm
because that has never been proven. There are important exceptions
for Chrome and Fx which you should not download...for Chrome you
must not install the Beta or Dev versions till they move it to the
release candidate program. After then it should be absolutely safe
and secure. I've used it and have monitored its security even when I
was totally addicted to game playing 3 months ago.

According to Google, "Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal
design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and
easier." However, each Google Chrome installation contains a unique ID
that identifies its user. Google doesn't make it an easy job to remove
this ID.

UnChrome helps you with this task. It replaces your unique ID with Null
values so that your browser can no longer be identified. The
functionality of Google Chrome is not affected by this. You only need to
apply UnChrome once.

Is there a 'favourites' button in there that will do a drop-down in an

I prefer Opera and have it running with no ads etc etc, but as you say it
gets ignored by plug-in makers.

Let's put it this way. You obviously go to great lengths to spoof other
posters and think you have great skills at this. I'm calling you a
helpless amatuer and a coward. I am posting from my account with Cox
therefore your posts will be exposed for what they are...as said above.

"Bear Bottoms" was abandoned in October when it was taken over by me
from Bottoms of Baton Rouge. At that time Baton Rouge Bottoms was using
a false email.

<REMOVEbea...@gmai.com>

Last week Baton Rouge Bottoms switched newsservers. He now posts
through Cox and started using my own email address! Can you believe it?
This address belongs to me and I send & receive from it. Since
Christmas the Baton Rouge Bottoms has made over 50 posts using MY email!

<REMOVEbea...@gmail.com>.

I tried to placate Baton Rouge Bottoms by referring traffic to his site
with a link in my sig (like Hummingbird) but he hasn't stopped using my
email.

Cox's T & Cs prohibit the following.

1. Baton Rouge Bottoms' previous use of false email addresses.
2. Baton Rouge Bottoms' current use of my email address.
