Anyone else had this or heard of it?

Daddy;
I don't know about either proggie however ...
1) Free Commander, and its author Marek Jasinski, are both
well-established entities. AS LONG AS you d/l'd the software from
<www.freecommander.com>, chances of it containing malware are extremely
small: that is, negligible.
2) Any and every anti-malware proggie out there has a mechanism for
confirming a malware hit. Often, it's a forum or an email address, or
some kind of form-submission page. When you get a hit like this, it's
on you to contact the malware authors for confirmation. It's on the
them to get back to you ASAP *and* update their dbase, algorithm,
whatever. If the malware authors are slow to respond, I strongly urge
you to find a replacement.
Sorry I couldn't provide you w/the "the" answer but ...

Free commanderis wickedy whack. You need SUPERAntiSpyware. It will not
only find it but remove it. SAS offers a free version and paid
version. Both work equally well. The paid version is actively scanning
and self-updating. The free version is not. They will both find and
remove EVERYTHING!
Well;
/Something/ is "whack," Sgt.
