Thanks. A program I cannot live without.
Version 6 supports only W2k and better.
Version 5.5 is the last for W98-ME and can be found here:

Grab it while it's still there.

I've tried tinySpell twice. It doesn't get along with me nohow.
Other people may like it, but for me, it's klutzy/idiosyncratic
enough to be crazy-making. Fairly decent with resources, though.

How does WordWeb compare? I'm using XP SPs 2 and 3.

I haven't tried tinySpell, but it seems to be only a spelling checker.
WordWeb is also a thesaurus and dictionary, which makes it particularly
valuable for those of us who doesn't have English as our first language.
I've never had any software problems with WordWeb. I've used version 5.5
on computers with ME, W2k and XP with SP2 and SP3.

WordWeb 6 for Windows:

I have WordWeb installed and use it every day. However it does not
spell-check an entire document. You can check a word in any window by
placing the cursor on it and ctrl-right-clicking. WordWeb will pop up
and show the definition and synonyms/antonyms of the word if it is
spelled correctly. If it is not spelled correctly, it will offer
suggestions.

I liked it so much I bought the Pro version. However it should be used
as a compliment to a document spell checker, rather than a replacement
for one.

Thanks Caesar (and also to you, JP) for your useful answers.
With tinySpell, I can highlight an entire page of text and the
utility will highlight words in sequence just like conventional
spell checkers. Or, it can be used word-by-word.

So, I wonder if WordWeb can check an entire paragraph, let's say,
if it's either highlighted or copied to the clipboard. Do you know?

Thanks.
