There's cleanall.bat from Fred Langa, www.langa.com, and a more aggressive
version here:

http://www.tomcoyote.org/cleanall.php,which cleans all cookies out of the
TIF, while the langa file only clears non-cookies.

Both are tiny downloads, and operate in DOS so they can get at windows temp
files.

Of course being dos, they are no good for XP!

Jumping in this thread rather late.
Has EmpTemp be mentioned?

Il System Wiper (download.com).
Very stable.

Index.dat Suite. Works with XP.
Also has the ability to view the contents of the index.dat entries if you
are curious.
Has just been updated to V2.4.6.

Not yet, but I was going to mention it myself. It's able to search the
hard drive for temp files, automatically (or manually) empty selected
folders, can also purge broken shortcuts, cookies, history, etc. -- Some
features can be scheduled to auto-run periodically, as well.

And the sheer ugliness of it all will surely be lost on them.

Hate to disagree, but you can run .bat files just fine in XP. Here is an
example of my netscape cleanup .bat file

cd c:\Documents and Settings\Dan\Application
Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\riohurst.slt\
del cookies.txt

cd c:\Documents and Settings\Dan\Application
Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\riohurst.slt\Cache
del *.*

This runs just fine :-)

You may also want to take a look at Disk Cleaner at:

I wouldn't call that late (avoids reference to Americans and Wars to End
Wars to end War)

Looks nice, I'll give it a try; the Dos ones claim to use environmental
variables to get *everything* which should include the hidden
subdirectories that index.dat finds.

I'm not techy enough to know foe sure, but I tend to use them all,(more
because I'm a relic of 20Mb hard disk days than having anything to hide)
